Our new friend, speaker and author Tim Richardson, is on a mission to redefine what being rich is all about. His annual list of "The Richest People in America" profiles people who have richness in ways that money can’t buy. They get rich because they give, not because they get. Tim interviewed Annie for his project and soon you will be able to read about her and many others by visiting his web site at www.TheRichestPeopleInAmerica.com.

Care Bags for Katrina Kids

"Every individual matters.
Every individual has a role to play.
Every individual makes a difference.
And we have a choice:
What sort of difference do we want to make?"

-Jane Goodall

In response to one of the worst natural disasters in our nation's history, which has left over a million people grieving and homeless, Care Bags Foundation will provide gifts of love and messages of hope to some of the kids affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Our friends and partners at Airline Ambassadors and World Vision, who already have extensive relief efforts underway to assist the survivors of the Gulf Coast tragedy, will hand-deliver Care Bags to displaced children, ages baby-18 years, who’ve been forced to flee their homes and belongings. Individual fabric Care Bags, as well as large ones filled with many essential and comforting items to assist countless kids, will be filled at our Newton headquarters and shipped to Airline Ambassadors and World Vision. This will be an ongoing effort that will continue for as long as the need exists.

Please consider helping us by donating funds or new items to fill the bags. You can also help by sewing bags or making small blankets. No contribution is too small. Please click on the "About Us" section to find out ways that you can help us assist kids of Katrina and others in need around the world.
